PROTECTION TYPE
On a standard DOS 3.3 diskette with a standard RWTS:
- Change of markers: D5 AA 96, DE AA, D5 AA AD, DE AA have been replaced with D3 96 F2, D3 B2, 96 D3 E5, 96 FF

DISK COPY
- Launch Advanced Demuffin 1.4
- Insert Death in the Caribbean in drive 1
- Insert a blank (volume 254) diskette in drive 2
- Press B to boot and get the RWTS of the game
- Copy tracks 1 to $22

Apply that process for both sides then similar process for track 0

- Launch Advanced Demuffin 1.4
- Insert Death in the Caribbean in drive 1
- Insert a blank (volume 254) diskette in drive 2
- Press P to pass boot
- Copy track 1 of both sides

REMOVE THE PROTECTION
Launch your favorite disk editor
Reset the right markers at the right place:
- D3 96 F2 -> D5 AA 96 (on T0/S3)
- D3 B2 -> DE AA (on T0/S3)
- 96 D3 E5 -> D5 AA AD (on T0/S2)
- 96 FF -> DE AA (on T0/S2)

Now that you are used to it, I do not tell where the markers are, I just give the sector number

Your backup copy is now ready, enjoy that adventure game!
